LLAMFF is back in 2010 and following the past successes it is now to become an annual event. Take the chance to be part of a major celebration of mountains and those who explore them and draw inspiration from them.
Over three days from 5th to 7th March 2010 there will be a packed programme of films, talks by leading mountaineers, debates, parties, art exhibitions, a bouldering competition, music, our climbing pub quiz and a brilliant opportunity for mountain lovers to meet, talk and have a great time.
We think globally - by drawing on mountain works and experiences from all over the world, but act locally - drawing in local young people with art and film competitions for them; with fully bilingual literature; by holding both film and lecture events in Welsh, and having a village-wide shop-front art exhibition.
LLAMFF promotes Llanberis and Snowdonia, as a global capital of adventure sports and adventure tourism, and attracts a large audience to the area.
LLAMFF is an unrivalled opportunity for climbers, boulderers, walkers, mountain bikers, canoeists, or simply people who love and care about Snowdonia, about Wales and about Welsh culture to come together and celebrate.
