Plas-y-Brenin is the National Mountaineering Centre, and is managed by the Mountain Training Trust, a not for profit organisaton set up jointly by the BMC (British Mountaineering Council), what was formally the MLTB (Mountain Leader Training Board) and the UK Mountain Training Board, to provide a first class training facility for all mountain based activities. 

PYB is only 5 minutes walk from the Joe Brown Shop in Capel Curig, and we now open at 8.30am so that you can get into the shop before courses commence at 9.00am.

If you buy anything from our On Line Web Shop your order may be picked up at either our Capel or Llanberis Shop. Alternitively you can request delivery to PYB ready for your arrival.

While staying at PYB any orders placed On Line overnight, can be collected or delivered next day by lunchtime to PYB for you.

The Capel Shop Opens Early at 8.30am Every Day

During the Summer saeson April - September we operate a late night at the Capel shop on Thursdays until 6.30pm.
